Laura celebrated her 8th (oh my goodness!) birthday this New Year's Eve. The new bike from Mom and Dad was a big surprise, and she's already been riding it, despite the fact that it's only 26 degrees outside! Along with that came lots of great treats- books and crafts and clothes and even a sewing machine...and an I-Dog to accompany the fabulous Shuffle that Aunt April gave her for Christmas. What more could a girl want?
Before school let out for winter vacation, Laura had a birthday party with some of her girlfriends. We went to see High School Musical 3 and then came home for pizza and cake. Poor Jerod, I'm not sure he'll be able to handle the many, many more years we have ahead of us that will involve dozens of wild and crazy girls.
