Emily is thrilled to be a part of the Girl Scout program this year. Here in Kodiak, both kindergarten and first grade girls participate in Daisy Scouts, and we recently attended the 2008 investiture ceremony, proclaiming Emily as an official Daisy!
We are truly lucky to have such a wonderful group of involved, caring parents at the girls' school this year. They really go above and beyond to ensure that life here on this remote island is just as fantastic for school-aged kids as it is anywhere else.
