Last day of driving….whew! We took it easy this morning and didn’t leave Anchorage until after 11:00 a.m... The drive down the Kenai Peninsula is gorgeous. Fly fisherman fill the river, and the mountains are some of the prettiest we’ve seen. It’s just a few hours to Homer, and we are really looking forward to spending the next couple of days on the Spit as we wait for our sailing on Sunday night. We have to be at the terminal at 7:30 p.m. for our sailing at 9:30 p.m., and we’ll wake up in Kodiak early Monday morning.
