Day 13

Homer is great. The Homer Spit Campground is, as the name implies, right on the Spit- so we’re right on the beach. The kids and dogs have loved it. The girls have collected rocks and shells and feathers and the dogs have had their fill of chasing the tennis ball. We had some delicious halibut for dinner- Grady LOVED it, and spent the day acting like tourists and checking out all of the cool art galleries and shops downtown. One more day til ferry time!

I've read your whole travel blog with so much interest. What a fabulous trip your family has had on its' way to Kodiak( minus Sarah's injury). I will continue to check your blog from time to time. Lots of love from Maine all the way to Alaska!
